At 80 proof (40% ABV), El Tesoro Añejo Tequila has an approachable strength and a rounded profile. It spends 2–3 years in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, bringing vanilla and oak into balance with the clear character of blue agave.
Floral jasmine lifts the aroma, while pepper gives the palate a gentle spark. Light green notes keep the richer barrel influence from becoming heavy, leaving the tequila fresh enough for everyday sipping. Made in Los Altos, Jalisco, it offers a straightforward expression of añejo tequila: mature but not dominated by wood. The 750 mL size works well for enjoying neat, over ice, or in a spirit-forward tequila cocktail where its agave character and soft vanilla can remain easy to pick out.
