Gran Patrón Smoky Silver Tequila
At 101 proof (50.5% ABV), this is a silver tequila with real weight behind it. Blue Weber agave from Jalisco carries a smoked character through the pour, unusual in an unaged tequila and the thing you notice first. Citrus cuts across it, bright and clean, while honey softens the edges without turning the spirit sweet.
Black pepper shows up on the finish, warm rather than sharp, alongside the earthy sweetness of cooked agave and a run of baking spice. The proof gives it presence but the texture stays smooth, and nothing tastes rounded off or padded — this is additive free, so what you get is agave, smoke, and the still.
Poured neat in a small glass it holds its own. In a margarita or a Paloma, the smoke reads clearly through the citrus. 750 mL.
