La Luna Bruto Mezcal

Passion fruit leads, bright and a little tropical, with citrus close behind to keep things clean. Underneath sits vanilla and a soft note of light sugarcane, which rounds off the edges and gives the finish a gentle sweetness rather than a sharp one.

At 60 proof (30% ABV), this is a lighter pour than most mezcal, and it drinks that way — easy, soft-textured, low on heat. The smoke that defines the category, drawn from agave roasted in underground pits, sits well back here, more of a warm background hum than a headline. That makes it an approachable place to start if agave spirits are new to you, and an unfussy bottle to keep on the shelf if they are not.

The 750 mL bottle works neat in a small glass or stirred into something citrus-forward, where the passion fruit has room to show.
