Moët & Chandon Impérial Brut Champagne 750ml

Dry, crisp, bright and elegant. This is a medium-bodied Brut Champagne with lively fruit and a creamy mousse. The nose shows green apple and citrus, with white flowers and a mineral note. Brioche, cereal and fresh nuts follow. The palate brings pear, white peach and apple, with gooseberry and lemon peel. The bubbles are fine and caressing, the acidity is fresh, and the finish is clean and lightly toasty.

Brut Impérial has been Moët & Chandon’s signature non-vintage Champagne since 1869. It is assembled from more than 100 wines from crus across Champagne. The blend is typically 30–40% Pinot Noir for body, 30–40% Meunier for suppleness and 20–30% Chardonnay for finesse. Reserve wines make up 20–30% of the blend and add maturity and consistency. Made in the traditional method and finished with a Brut dosage of about 7 g/L, it is bottled at 12% ABV in a 750 mL bottle.

Serve well chilled in a tulip glass, as an aperitif or with oysters and sushi.
