Volans Release No. 1 is an extra añejo tequila from Los Altos, Jalisco, made with Blue Weber agave and aged for 6 years in an American white oak ex-bourbon barrel.
This additive-free tequila comes from a single barrel and is bottled at 86 proof (43% ABV). Toasted oak gives the close a firm contour while the agave remains clear at the core. The 750 mL release is available in limited quantities and is best poured neat, then given a brief rest before the first sip.
