From Portugal’s Douro Valley, The Last Drop Duo Centenario Very Old Colheita Tawny Port combines the 1870 and 1970 vintages in a single fortified wine. Made from a traditional Douro field blend, both components underwent ancient oak cask maturation. The cross-vintage composition is the bottle’s defining feature, joining separate harvests from the same region in one expression. No single harvest stands alone within the finished bottling. Bottled at 20% ABV and presented in a 750 mL bottle.
Black plum and fig together establish a dark-fruit core on the palate, setting a fruit-led opening before walnut adds a distinctly savory note and orange peel brings a bright citrus edge to the finish.
